Under the authority of the CEO, the incumbent holds the position of financial accounting expert. They contribute to the development of financial systems, processes, and accounting practices. They oversee the advancement of development projects. Finally, they ensure the maintenance of an effective control structure to reduce business risks.

Your Daily Mission

• Ensure the compliance of all accounting activities and the integrity of financial information and data within the framework of internal control measures and external audits;
• Plan and organize tax strategies;
• Ensure the control of financial and operational functions in the company's various establishments, including on the ships;
• Analyze sales and expense reports and track them according to results;
• Manage insurance files, including claim follow-ups;
• Analyze, track, and manage development projects;
• Negotiate credit facilities and their renewal;
• Monitor investments and placements;
• Ensure the preparation of annual tax returns for all companies;
• Responsible for regulatory monitoring of accounting standards and best practices;
• Manage software or management tool improvements to optimize accounting processes;
• Lead the financial digital transformation;
• Support executives in their personal and corporate financial management;
• Participate in corporate restructuring;
• Perform all other related tasks.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of experience in a similar position;
• B.A.C. in Business Administration with a focus on accounting expertise and hold the title of CA, C.P.A., or C.G.A.;
• Tax expertise (an asset);
• Experience in a firm (an asset);
• Knowledge of the tourism industry (an asset).
