JOB OVERVIEW
As a Materials and Operations Coordinator, you will support critical aircraft engine integration and kit preparation activities to ensure the safe and timely maintenance of production operations. You will coordinate daily activities, collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams, and ensure compliance with aeronautical safety and airworthiness requirements in a dynamic MRO environment.
This role would be a good fit for candidates who have held positions such as planner, buyer, materials coordinator, logistics coordinator, inventory analyst, production coordinator, or any other operations-focused role. While experience in the aerospace industry is a plus, we are primarily looking for individuals with strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills. We encourage applications from candidates in the manufacturing, distribution, logistics, supply chain, and warehousing sectors who wish to develop their aerospace industry knowledge.
*Responsibilities:*
Operations and Execution
- Coordinate and oversee daily aerospace integration and kitting activities to support aircraft engine production schedules
- Ensure execution aligns with integration plans, priorities, and operational requirements
- Quickly adapt workflows based on production variations and material availability in a production-focused environment
Processes and Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve integration, kitting, and material flow processes
- Drive and support the implementation of standardized methods to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and delivery timelines
Interfunctional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary operational contact between supply chain, asset management, logistics, and production teams
- Provide a reference point for internal clients regarding material availability and integration readiness
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure rigorous adherence to airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Maintain high operational discipline within a strictly regulated aerospace and MRO environment
- *Qualifications:*
- Experience in aircraft engine MRO operations, including strip, repair, and build phases, is a plus. However, candidates with relevant experience in manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, warehousing, production planning, or materials management are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent understanding of material flow and logistics processes (procurement, repairs, exchanges, kitting, inventory control).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic, production-focused environment.
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit.
- Proficiency in working in a bilingual environment (French and English).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and enterprise productivity tools.
