Your role

The Robotics Technician ensures the installation, programming, troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of industrial robots and automated systems in the factory.

You will play an essential role in maintaining operations and improving our production equipment.

Main responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve malfunctions on FANUC robots and automated equipment.

Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and robotic troubleshooting.

Install, start up, and commission new robots and automated cells.

Program, modify, and optimize robotic programs according to production needs.

Participate in production changes and new line start-ups.

Make necessary adjustments to ensure equipment quality and performance.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work.

Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

Participate in continuous process and equipment improvement.

Document interventions and modifications made to systems.

Strictly apply health and safety standards, including locking.

Desired profile

Education in robotics, automation, electromechanics, or related field.

Experience with FANUC industrial robots (major asset).

Knowledge of programming and commissioning of robotic cells.

Good understanding of control electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Ability to quickly analyze problems and find effective solutions.

Autonomy, resourcefulness, and initiative.

Good team spirit and excellent communication.

Experience in an automated manufacturing environment, an important asset.
