Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning, implementation, and optimization of the Fairmont Le Reine Elizabeth's digital marketing initiatives. Aligned with the hotel's business objectives and target audiences, this person develops and deploys content and digital strategies aimed at increasing the brand's visibility, audience engagement, conversions, and the hotel's and its dining outlets' revenues. They also manage digital platforms, social networks, the website, email campaigns, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to offer a consistent and high-performing brand experience across all digital channels. Essential responsibilities and functions of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement a digital content strategy aligned with the hotel's business objectives and target audiences.
  • Plan, create, write, and coordinate the production of original content (photos, videos, texts, and other visual content) showcasing the hotel, its experiences, restaurants, bars, events, and offers.
  • Organize and coordinate photo shoots and filmings in collaboration with internal teams and external providers.
  • Manage the hotel's social media platforms (hotel and dining outlets), including editorial calendar planning, content publishing, community engagement, and best practice tracking.
  • Analyze social media performance and provide recommendations to optimize engagement, reach, and conversions.
  • Ensure regular updates to the hotel's and dining outlets' websites and create landing pages to support promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Optimize website content according to best practices in natural search engine optimization (SEO and GEO) to improve organic visibility.
  • Design, write, and deploy email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, testing, result analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with agencies and external partners for the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Participate in the management and tracking of advertising campaigns on digital platforms, such as Meta and Google, in collaboration with specialized agencies.
  • Track the performance indicators (KPIs) of digital campaigns and provide recommendations to improve results, traffic, conversions, and revenues.
  • Design and coordinate the production of digital and printed promotional tools, ensuring compliance with the Fairmont and Accor brand standards.
  • Ensure the deployment of communications and displays within the hotel, including signage, promotional materials, visual elements, and printed tools.
  • Manage and update the hotel's image bank and digital assets.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, dining, events, and operations teams to promote the establishment's various offers in a consistent and integrated manner.
  • Compile marketing campaign results and support the preparation of performance reports.
  • Conduct a watch on digital marketing trends, content creation, social networks, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative initiatives that contribute to the shine of Fairmont Le Reine Elizabeth.
  • Perform any other related tasks required within the scope of their functions.

Qualifications

  • University or college degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in digital marketing, content creation, or communications, ideally in the hospitality, tourism, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Excellent command of French and English, both oral and written, to effectively communicate with local, national, and international clients, partners, and suppliers.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to adapt tone and content to different platforms and audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience in social media management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other relevant platforms) and editorial calendar creation.
  • Experience in multimedia content creation and coordination (photo, video, and writing) and ability to direct photo shoots and filmings.
  • Good knowledge of content management platforms (CMS), email marketing tools, and best practices in natural search engine optimization (SEO/GEO).
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms, such as Meta Ads and Google Ads, and campaign optimization principles.
  • Proficiency in digital performance analysis tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent platforms.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro), Canva, or other visual creation tools is an asset.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Sharp organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously while fostering collaboration.
  • Creative spirit combined with an analytical approach focused on results and continuous improvement.
  • Strong interest in digital marketing trends, new technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of luxury brand standards or an international hotel chain is an asset.
  • Must be available outside regular office hours to create content, participate in events or activations, and share content in real-time.
