Technorm, a subsidiary of J.S. Held, is looking for a Multimedia Technician to join our continuing education service in the Montreal office.

• Transform content into training videos: edit training videos on the Building Code, integrating visual effects, transitions, titles, subtitles, music, and voice-over to create clear, engaging, and professional-quality content.
• Design dynamic visual tools: create graphics, illustrations, infographics, animations, and other multimedia elements to ensure consistent communication with the organization's visual identity.
• Ensure quality and meet deadlines: contribute to the planning and production of multimedia projects, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and service priorities are met.
• Support video capture activities: maintain and ensure the proper functioning of the recording studio, and assist trainers in the production of training modules.
• Master the necessary technological tools: be knowledgeable about and recommend equipment, software, and multimedia tools that meet the service's needs and improve productions.
• Collaborate on project success: actively participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and recommendations to initiatives related to training, service, and marketing.
• Embody the company values: reflect the company's principles in your interactions, both with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in video editing (primarily), multimedia content creation, and/or digital production
• a DEC in multimedia integration techniques, graphic design, audiovisual production, or a related field
• a strong interest in popularization and animation, as well as the construction domain
• excellent mastery of video editing and visual creation software (Adobe Creative Cloud Premiere Pro, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• ability to manage multiple editing projects and transform visual content of varying quality
• good sense of organization, creativity, and attention to detail
• knowledge of digital training tools and video/audio capture equipment (an asset)
• good knowledge of the French language
• fluency in English, for possible English-language training (an asset)
