AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

At our headquarters in Quebec, you will actively participate in the development of cutting-edge industrial systems. You will leverage your expertise in automation by collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design innovative industrial laser solutions.

EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS

• Participate in the development of new industrial laser solutions;
• Perform PLC programming, primarily using the Codesys environment;
• Develop operator interfaces (HMI);
• Participate in the development of test protocols for various products;
• Support different Laserax teams in the integration of developed products;
• Participate in the maintenance and improvement of the product offering;
• Participate in the writing of product documentation (User Manual, production and marketing documents);
• Participate in the development and delivery of training on new products.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Technical or university degree in automation or a related field;
• More than 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
• Proficiency in several programming environments (e.g., Codesys, Allen Bradley, Siemens);
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including internationally;
• Knowledge of electricity and ability to read electrical schematics;
• Strong team spirit combined with good autonomy and initiative;
• Experience in the manufacturing sector (an asset).
