What you will do

• Manage store operations to stimulate sales, control expenses, reduce losses and damages, including activities related to merchandise presentation, warehouse, checkout area, vault room, customer service, markdowns, planning, shipping, and receiving.
• Recruit, train, and develop associates, ensuring they are supported and motivated. Set the example and provide feedback on succession planning and development plans.
• Communicate and implement TJX Canada's programs, procedures, and policies, to reduce risks and expenses. Review store reports, conduct inspection tours, checks, and organize meetings on programs with associates. Develop and distribute action plans for in-store initiatives, defining projects, goals, and priorities to be met.
• Formulate recommendations to the district manager and company development teams on merchandise assortment, stock levels, and customer demographic data. Highlight competitive analysis, including pricing, merchandise presentation, and customer service.

About you

• At least five years of experience in retail sales in high-volume and very dynamic environments.
• Proven skills in team management and leadership, focused on collaboration and problem-solving.
• Strong ability to lead diverse teams and empower them to act, making effective decisions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to coach and provide feedback.
• In-depth knowledge of store operations, including customer service, merchandising, staff management, health and safety, and loss prevention.
