You will join the center of excellence in *Mechanical and Building Electrical Engineering* and will be responsible for completing projects in the field of electricity within established budgets and deadlines, managing the team, and ensuring client communication.
Your responsibilities
- Design and oversee the design of electrical systems within institutional, commercial, and industrial projects;
- Conduct technical surveys on-site within engineering projects in building electrical engineering;
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare the required technical documents (reports, estimates, plans, and technical sheets);
- Write studies, analyses, and technical reports while ensuring the quality of deliverables;
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, laws, and quality requirements;
- Monitor construction sites and track the progress of work;
- Participate in the preparation of service offers, contractual documents, and requests for proposals;
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and partners to ensure project success;
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on the various stages of multidisciplinary projects;
- Manage client contracts, budgets, and schedules;
- Perform any other tasks related to the position.
- Our must-haves
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering;
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
- Minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience in building electrical engineering;
- Hold the ASP Construction certification for the General Health and Safety course on construction sites;
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written;
- Proficiency in English is required as the candidate will be called upon to work with colleagues and partners whose language of communication is English.
Your assets
- Knowledge of EasyPower and AGi32 software;
- Hold a PA LEED or LEED Green Associate certification;
- Excellent ability to manage priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Professional rigor, sense of organization, and high level of integrity;
- Collaborative spirit and ability to adapt to a multidisciplinary environment.
