Your main responsibilities
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to develop solutions tailored to clients' needs and execute projects in the commercial building mechanics sector.
- Collaborate on the development of the commercial projects expertise cell within the company.
- Serve as a close advisor to clients.
- Conduct site surveys of existing installations.
- Analyze, design, and adapt installations related to building mechanics.
- Participate in construction cost estimates.
- Participate in the preparation of tenders and technical reports.
- Provide assistance in the supervision of work.
- Perform other related tasks, including administrative tasks.
Desired profile
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in building mechanics design.
- Proficiency in French (oral and written) and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD, REVIT, and Office 365 Suite.
- Excellent ability to perform technical analyses, propose innovative solutions, and solve complex problems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines and fee budgets.
- Collaborative spirit and positive leadership to influence technical decisions and client relations.
- Strong team spirit, mentoring, and support skills for colleagues.
- Sense of organization and priority management.
