Within the Environmental Characterization and Rehabilitation team, as a Technician:

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor site rehabilitation and soil management works in the environment;
• Supervise environmental and geotechnical drilling works;
• Perform environmental sampling (groundwater) and in-situ testing;
• Supervise the installation of observation wells, tubes, and piezometers;
• Perform stratigraphic soil description;
• Write drilling and site reports.

Qualifications

• Your Profile
• DEC in civil engineering or mineral technology or equivalent;
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the environment in a similar position;
• Must be able to travel outside the city for variable periods, generally between 2 to 14 days, but possibly extended, depending on projects;
• Knowledge and mastery of various environmental sampling methods for different materials;
• Good knowledge of soil identification;
• Knowledge and proficiency with geodetic instruments (GPS, total station, leveling);
• Good leadership and ability to communicate and build good relationships with site personnel;
• Construction ASP card;
• Very good French written and spoken (bilingual French/English is an asset);
• Valid driver’s license.
