We are seeking a Master Data Governance and Management Lead to drive the most strategic initiatives of our transformation and integration with JB Poindexter & Co. (JBPCO).
In this new role, you will be responsible for establishing governance, standards, and processes that ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the company's essential data across all divisions of Pulse Vehicles. Your work will directly contribute to the integration of our enterprise systems and enable better decision-making in areas such as finance, operations, engineering, supply chain, and more.

Your key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's master data management strategy, in compliance with JBPCO standards.
- Establish a data governance framework, including policies, roles, responsibilities, and management practices.
- Define common standards, naming conventions, and uniform nomenclature for all business units.
- Analyze existing business processes and data structures across different divisions to recommend harmonized approaches.
- Lead the harmonization of critical master data, including customers, suppliers, products, parts, and assets.
- Support enterprise system integration projects, including ERP initiatives and future technology implementations.
- Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and processes to ensure continuous improvement in data quality.
- Facilitate workshops with business and IT teams to achieve consensus and promote adoption of new practices.
- Evaluate master data management technologies and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity requirements, and compliance standards.
- Guide the organization through change by developing a culture of data responsibility, governance, and ownership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Technologies, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
- At least 7 years of experience in master data management (MDM), data governance, or enterprise data management.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing multidisciplinary, large-scale projects.
- Experience in ERP implementation or enterprise system integration.
- Experience in a multisite or multi-company environment; manufacturing experience is a significant asset.
- Strong knowledge of principles and best practices in master data management, enterprise data architecture, data quality management, ERP systems (JD Edwards is an asset); MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, Boomi, or comparable solutions.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential as this role involves daily interactions with teams and leaders located in Canada, the United States, and within JBPCO.
