About the Role

McKesson is seeking a highly motivated Finance Project Manager to support strategic initiatives and transformation programs across Finance and key business functions. In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT, Operations, Commercial, and HR to drive projects from planning through execution and value realization.

You will play a critical role in developing business cases, monitoring financial benefits, leading executive reporting, and supporting the successful implementation of new processes, systems, and technologies. Business Case Development and Benefits Realization

  • Develop and maintain business cases, cost-benefit analyses, investment proposals, and benefits realization frameworks.
  • Track project costs, expected benefits, achievement targets, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Monitor financial performance indicators and measure program results against approved targets.
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to ensure alignment between project benefits and financial plans.
  • Support benefits realization reviews with executive teams.

Executive Reporting and Communication

  • Prepare executive presentations, dashboards, scorecards, and progress reports for senior leadership.
  • Provide clear visibility into project health, risks, opportunities, and achievements.
  • Consolidate updates from multiple initiatives into strategic reports for leadership.
  • Support steering committees, leadership meetings, and information sessions.

Financial Transformation and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to modernization initiatives, including system implementations, process optimization, automation, and reporting capability improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and improve scalability of processes.
  • Participate in the design of tomorrow’s operational processes and models.
  • Support the adoption of digital solutions, artificial intelligence, and automation within the Finance function.

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop strong partnership relationships with Finance teams and other business functions.
  • Facilitate alignment among stakeholders with different priorities and perspectives.
  • Effectively communicate project impacts, decisions, and progress.
  • Support issue resolution and escalation management as needed.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, financial analysis, business analysis, project management, or financial transformation.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex initiatives and projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing business cases, financial forecasts, profitability analyses, and executive-level reports.
  • Excellent skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in presenting strategic recommendations to senior leaders and executives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • MBA, CPA, PMP, or other relevant certification.
  • Experience in financial transformation, digital transformation, or operational model improvement.
  • Knowledge of project portfolio governance, change management, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power Query, or other data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Experience in process automation, artificial intelligence, or modernization of analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare, distribution, supply chain, or logistics sectors.
  • Bilingual French-English.
