Systems Administrator (SysAdmin) – Azure Cloud & Infrastructure

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator (SysAdmin) to support IT operations and contribute to various infrastructure projects within a complex enterprise environment.

You will be responsible for Level 3 support, administration of Windows and Azure infrastructures, and management of virtualization platforms. You will work closely with international teams to ensure the stability, security, and evolution of technological environments.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Azure Cloud, Active Directory, and Windows Server, as well as experience in virtualized environments such as Hyper-V and Nutanix.

Main Requirements

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in large organizations (asset)
• Advanced expertise in:
• + Microsoft Azure Cloud
• + Active Directory / Azure AD
• + Windows Server
• Experience with virtualization platforms:
• + Hyper-V
• + Nutanix
• + Azure
• Level 3 technical support experience
• Experience with Microsoft Intune
• Good understanding of networking:
• + TCP/IP
• + VPN
• + Firewall
• + Routing
• Knowledge of ITIL and ISO standards
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to document infrastructures and technical procedures

Assets

• Knowledge of Azure Synapse Analytics
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse
• Microsoft, Azure, or infrastructure certifications

Objectives and Deliverables

• Provide Level 3 IT infrastructure support
• Maintain the availability, security, and performance of Windows and Azure environments
• Manage virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructures
• Participate in infrastructure evolution and modernization projects
• Produce complete and up-to-date technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with security, compliance, and SLA standards

Main Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 technical support for complex incidents and requests
• Administer Azure Cloud and Active Directory environments
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources (VM, virtual networks, Azure AD, NSG, storage accounts, App Services)
• Administer Windows Server infrastructures
• Manage Hyper-V and Nutanix platforms
• Ensure the proper functioning of Microsoft Intune-based deployment and update solutions
• Install, maintain, and secure on-premises and cloud server infrastructures
• Participate in monitoring, preventive maintenance, and incident resolution activities
• Collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and international support teams
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and architecture diagrams
• Apply security best practices, patches, and compliance requirements
• Occasionally participate in out-of-hours maintenance operations
