Main Responsibilities

• Manage staff in the distribution and execution of repairs and maintenance of heavy vehicles.
• Monitor productivity, budgets, and maximize operations;
• Supervise the parts required for repairs on various equipment in the company;
• Assign work orders, manage approvals, and close work orders;
• Manage relationships with external subcontractors and approve external repair payments;
• Respond to service calls;
• Management and planning of CVM;
• Coach and support mechanics in their professional development.
• Participate in the disciplinary process, control, and tracking of working hours;
• Apply GFL's health and safety policies;
• Any other related tasks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• We are looking for a candidate who has completed a D.E.P. in mechanics and has 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics will be considered an asset.
• To occupy the position, it is essential to demonstrate excellent planning, organizing, and tracking skills;
• You must demonstrate excellent problem-solving, communication, and autonomy skills.
