About the position

You will work as a senior Workday Analyst - Finance at one of our offices located in Quebec City or Longueuil, for Promutuel Assurance in a hybrid mode.

In this role, you will play a central part in the configuration, improvement, and optimization of the finance module of Workday. You will work closely with the Chief Accounting System Director, the team supporting the day-to-day operations of accounting systems, financial directors, and other finance collaborators, our HR and IT leadership partners, and other stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide support to users in collaboration with financial directors, controllers, and other Workday analysts to meet the vice-presidency's project roadmap, assignments, and optimizations;
• Work in collaboration with other teams (e.g., corporate actuarial, accounting standards, legal, audit, etc.) to ensure compliance specific to these different sectors;
• Conduct analyses and make recommendations to ensure the success of these projects, assignments, and optimizations;
• Participate in maintaining day-to-day operations by responding to particular issues that arise, analyzing and explaining these situations, identifying solutions to apply, and participating in the implementation of these solutions to propose improvement opportunities;
• Perform complex configuration operations requiring expertise and specific knowledge in finance within Workday;
• During the delivery of new features, conduct analyses and make recommendations and proceed with configurations;
• Perform validation and develop tests related to new configurations (processes and Workday upgrades) to ensure a high level of quality;
• Evolve, in collaboration with your team, the practice, methodologies, documentation, and training materials;
• Follow market trends and best practices to optimize the Workday solutions implemented;
• Monitor the Workday Community website;
• Other related tasks

Do you have this profile?

• Bachelor's degree in business administration
• Minimum eight (8) years of experience in accounting and financial analysis and/or business analysis in accounting, including at least three (3) years in stakeholder support and accompaniment and at least two (2) years in configuration within Workday;
• Good knowledge of accounting standards;
• Good general knowledge of computer tools, Office 365 suite
• Knowledge of the JIRA tool for agile planning and task tracking - asset
• Member of the CPA Quebec Order - asset
