Business Analyst

Here is a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities

• Analyze business situations in order to understand organizational issues and identify opportunities for improvement;
• Identify, document, validate and ensure traceability of business needs and requirements ;
• Map current and target business processes ;
• Recommend and influence the evolution of financial processes according to market best practices ;
• Support stakeholders and promote their adherence to the objectives and requirements of the project;
• Align solutions with business objectives and business needs;
• Identify organizational requirements, dependencies, and impacts ;
• Present and communicate solutions to the various stakeholders;
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the solutions implemented and ensure an end-to-end cross-cutting vision;
• Collaborate with architects , subject matter experts , project managers , and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle .

The profile we are looking for is as follows

• Hold an undergraduate degree;
• Possess a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in the fields of accounting, finance and financial systems;
• Have a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a business analyst role;
• Knowledge of Oracle financial software packages (ERP Cloud, EBS, EPM Cloud and Hyperion) is an asset;
• Knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry is an asset;
• Hold an accounting title (asset).
