Mission of your work team
The Mission Support Directorate ensures integrated, efficient, and coherent management of special projects and mandates. It coordinates off-site inspections at the national level and the organizational horizontal mandates entrusted to it.
It provides specialized expertise in drones and emergency measure coordination to support operations and strategic decision-making.
Here’s what your daily job would look like
- Receive and analyze reports generated by the Traces Québec information system to assess their nature and determine appropriate follow-ups according to the case type;
- Forward cases requiring field intervention to the concerned regional departments and communicate with project managers for compliance feedback via the Traces Québec system, documenting the actions taken;
- Identify improvement opportunities for the Traces Québec system by identifying gaps and participating in technical tests when required.
Remuneration: Minimum hourly rate of $25.14. A 6.5% surcharge is added to this rate to compensate for certain social benefits.
Telework: Hybrid mode (telework and on-site) according to agreed guidelines
Expected start date: September 2026, for the fall session
Desired profile and application procedures
Conditions for holding a student job
- Be enrolled in full-time studies at the college level for the fall 2026 session at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Higher Education OR be enrolled part-time in the penultimate or final session of this program, in one of the following fields of study:
- + Bioecology techniques
- + Natural environment techniques
- + Environment, hygiene, and safety at work
- + Water technology
- + Animal production technology
- + Industrial engineering techniques
- + DEC pre-university sciences of nature
- + Or any other field deemed relevant for the job
- Be authorized to work in Canada;
Have appropriate French language skills for the job assignments.
More specifically, we are looking for a motivated student, eager to learn, and who demonstrates:
- Autonomy, a sense of responsibility, and rigor in organizing daily tasks.
- Writing skills and ease of working with various computer systems will be considered (Office Suite).
- Discretion in handling confidential information.
- Communication skills, particularly in providing excellent customer service.
- Interest in learning new things in a stimulating environment.
