As part of our operations' evolution and to ensure optimal coverage across Canada, we are opening a permanent position for a Rental Operations Coordinator.
This role is part of the national rental team and directly contributes to the management and optimization of the fleet nationwide. The incumbent acts as a central point between sales, service, transportation, and partners to ensure the smoothness of operations, the prioritization of requests, and decision-making aligned with national objectives.
The position supports all Canadian operations, with a particular responsibility for covering the Western Canadian markets, including Alberta.
Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM (HE).
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate rental, demo, loaner, and sublease requests nationwide;
- Prioritize requests based on availability, deadlines, and overall business value;
- Actively contribute to the national fleet management (allocation, availability, optimization);
- Ensure operational coverage at the end of the day for Western Canadian markets;
- Make quick decisions in highly constrained contexts (inventory, transportation, deadlines, customers);
- Manage exceptional situations (equipment shortages, billing discrepancies, special requests);
- Unblock complex situations by mobilizing the right stakeholders;
- Coordinate subleases with external partners (negotiation, follow-up, billing);
- Maintain rigorous tracking of active files and equipment returns;
- Ensure data integrity in the systems (P21, Salesforce);
- Collaborate closely with sales, service, and logistics teams across Canada;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience in coordination within an operational environment (rental, logistics, service, or equivalent);
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment;
- Strong operational judgment and capacity for autonomous decision-making;
- Ability to influence and mobilize different stakeholders without direct authority;
- Capacity to navigate ambiguity and manage non-standard situations;
- Rigor, organizational sense, and analytical mindset;
- Knowledge of Salesforce and P21 (asset) or ability to learn quickly;
- Bilingualism (advanced English required for interactions with Western Canada).
