Under the authority of the Regional Sales Director, the Technical Sales Representative is responsible for the sales functions attributable to their region.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Position Sika as a company that provides quality products and services.
- Maintain a focus on architecture and property owners, taking into account regional sales activities.
- Achieve sales, pricing, and discount objectives.
- Develop sales plans and strategies for architectural markets, property owners, and contractors.
- Lead sales and product service for Sika's floor coverings.
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications
- University or college degree in administration or a technical field, or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience.
- Bilingual (French and English) to facilitate communication with the team outside Quebec (60% of the time) and international colleagues.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize urgent situations.
- Strong teamwork skills. Excellent negotiation skills.
Vehicle and Driving License Requirements
- Company-provided vehicle.
- Valid driver's license and compliance with Sika's fleet safety policy.
- Technical Sales Representatives are responsible for the prudent use and protection of company assets.
