What Your Workdays at EXP Entail

  • Perform qualitative material control on-site for granular materials, cement concrete, and bituminous pavements;
  • Conduct sampling and testing in accordance with applicable standards;
  • Interpret results and monitor quality requirements on-site;
  • Prepare site reports, technical memos, and non-compliance notices;
  • Collaborate closely with contractors, supervisors, and project managers to ensure compliance with work;
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of material control activities;
  • Act as a mentor or technical resource for less experienced team members, depending on your level of experience;
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment used on-site;
  • Complete assigned tasks in accordance with schedules, quality standards, and health and safety requirements;
  • Perform any other tasks related to your functions.

What Makes You an Asset for EXP

  • You hold a DEC, AEC, or other relevant civil engineering certification;
  • You have relevant experience in material control or civil engineering;
  • For the intermediate level: you have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
  • For the senior level: you have more than 5 years of experience and are recognized for your technical expertise and autonomy;
  • You are familiar with MTQ, Hydro-Québec, or other major client standards (asset);
  • You hold the ASP Construction certification;
  • You have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel;
  • You hold the ACI Level 1 certification in cement concrete or wish to obtain it (asset);
  • You are known for your diligence, professional judgment, and sense of responsibility;
  • You enjoy fieldwork and dynamic project environments.
