Key Information

Location: 125 rue d'Anvers, ... QC G3A 1S5

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (with the possibility of overtime)

Salary: Starting at $23.32/hour (time and a half after 40 hours)

Annual Bonus: Up to $1,200

Status: Permanent | Full-time

Your Role

As a forklift operator, you play a crucial role in our daily operations. You use a counterbalanced forklift (propane, electric, or diesel) to prepare and move material orders, including oversized or irregularly shaped products, in a safe manner. You work both indoors and outdoors and contribute to the smooth operation of the warehouse and yard. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and active days. You proudly represent Lefebvre & Benoit by providing professional, courteous, and attentive service to our customers.

Your Daily Tasks

• Operate a forklift and perform its daily inspection
• Handle, lift, pull, and push materials
• Transport materials within the warehouse and yard
• Prepare construction material orders with precision
• Load orders onto company and customer trucks
• Provide efficient and courteous customer service
• Participate in the organization and storage of the warehouse and yard
• Perform inventory tracking
• Collaborate with your team and support your colleagues as needed

What We Are Looking For

• Have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating a counterbalanced forklift (propane, electric, or diesel)
• Be familiar with various construction materials (an asset)
• Be able to perform physical work, including handling, lifting weights up to 50 lb, and prolonged standing
• Enjoy working both indoors and outdoors, in all seasons
• Like teamwork and providing courteous and professional customer service
• Demonstrate diligence, reliability, and a good sense of responsibility
• Be available to work overtime as needed
• Hold a safe forklift operation training
