The Cybersecurity Architecture Advisor supports organizations in designing, evolving, and securing their technological environments, whether it's infrastructures, applications, cloud services, data platforms, or AI-integrated solutions. He contributes to defining security architectures, principles, and measures tailored to business needs, organizational risks, and applicable requirements.
He works with business, architecture, infrastructure, development, data, AI, and security teams to integrate cybersecurity from the design phase of solutions. His role includes ensuring coherent management of access, data, interfaces, models, external services, and automated components within the technological ecosystem.
Functions and Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technological needs from a cybersecurity perspective;
- Design and document security architectures covering infrastructures, applications, cloud services, data platforms, and AI solutions;
- Define security principles, models, requirements, and controls;
- Assess risks associated with data, models, APIs, intelligent agents, automated components, and external technological services;
- Integrate security principles from the design phase in technological projects and AI initiatives;
- Participate in architecture reviews, risk analyses, and security evaluations;
- Formulate recommendations to reduce cybersecurity risks;
- Guide project teams in designing and implementing security measures;
- Contribute to defining roadmaps and security evolution plans;
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of technological solutions;
- Support the resolution of complex security issues in technological environments;
- Produce architecture documents, analyses, reports, and presentations;
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security architecture practices.
- Required Qualities to Succeed in This Role
- Desired Profile
- Education in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering, information systems, or a related field;
- Relevant experience in technological architecture, solution architecture, or cybersecurity;
- Good understanding of security principles applicable to infrastructures, applications, networks, cloud services, data platforms, and AI solutions;
- Ability to evaluate data flow, technological dependencies, access mechanisms, and interactions between different solution components;
- Ability to translate business needs and risks into requirements and architectural choices;
- Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and documentation skills;
- Knowledge of recognized cybersecurity frameworks, standards, or methods;
- Relevant certifications in cybersecurity or architecture are an asset.
CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, as well as professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particularities of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $70,000 and $135,000. This position is open.
