  • Analyze risks associated with the use, sharing, training, or automated processing of data;
  • Assess the likelihood and potential consequences of risks;
  • Determine the residual risk level after considering existing controls;
  • Recommend risk reduction, transfer, avoidance, or acceptance measures;
  • Develop and maintain risk registers;
  • Monitor treatment plans and residual risks;
  • Assess risks related to suppliers, partners, subcontractors, and external technology services;
  • Conduct risk analyses in the context of technological projects, acquisitions, or organizational transformations;
  • Advise business and technical leaders on their decisions;
  • Produce reports, opinions, and presentations for stakeholders;
  • Contribute to the improvement of risk management methods, tools, and practices.

Qualifications Required for Success in this Role

  • Education in cybersecurity, computer science, risk management, audit, administration, or a related field;
  • Relevant experience in risk analysis, governance, compliance, or cybersecurity;
  • Good understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, impacts, and security controls;
  • Understanding of risks associated with AI, data, automation, technology suppliers, and non-human identities;
  • Ability to analyze complex scenarios and evaluate their operational, financial, legal, and reputational impacts;
  • Ability to structure and document risk analyses;
  • Ability to communicate risks to managers and decision-makers;
  • Meticulousness, professional judgment, and critical thinking;
  • Knowledge of risk management methods or frameworks;
  • Professional certifications in risk management, audit, or cybersecurity are an asset.
