OBJECTIVE
The Freight Administrator ensures the integrity of freight-related information in SAP. The administrator must maintain a strong working relationship and open communication with carriers, sales teams, logistics/CVC teams, and plant operations staff to assist and support the following key activities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate a high-level analysis by supplier, by zone.
- Monitor the unfactored shipments report daily and work with the Logistics Director to ensure all shipments have a freight rate in SAP.
- Update and maintain the freight KPI dashboard and work with branches, sales team, and CVC, to maintain end-of-month goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Finance regarding logistics data.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicate, improve, and comply with health, safety, and environmental policies in all environments and work zones. Promote a safety culture and exhibit these behaviors.
- COMPETENCY PROFILE
Education: Accounting technical, administration, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Field of Study: Business, Administration, Accounting
Required Work Experience: One to three years of experience in customer service or accounting positions
Required Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft, and Google suite offerings, an asset.
Travel Requirements: 5%
Additional Requirements
- The incumbent must be bilingual, English and French, this is mandatory.
- Understanding of the construction materials industry, including knowledge of products, an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving, decision-making skills.
- Time management and self-management skills, including autonomy, effective execution of current priorities associated with customer call responses, scheduling follow-ups while being able to redefine priorities on demand.

- Candidates selected must adhere to all safety protocols and appropriate use of Amrize-approved personal protective equipment (“PPE”), including but not limited to, respirators. Employees who must wear respirators must be shaved where the respirator seal meets the face to successfully pass qualitative and quantitative fit testing.
