Job Context
In a context of growth and increased business volume, we wish to strengthen our accounting team by creating a financial analyst position. This new resource will play a key role in supporting accounting activities, analyzing financial performance, and improving our processes.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the accuracy of financial data and the analysis of financial performance discrepancies. You will act as an expert to translate numbers into operational strategic data, in close collaboration with the Chief Financial Controller and the Chief Financial Director.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Manage activities related to monthly and annual financial closings, including the preparation and accounting of provisions, depreciation, and reconciliation entries;
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analyze discrepancies between actual results, budgets, and forecasts;
- Perform complex bank reconciliations and track elements requiring regularization;
- Ensure the tracking and updating of the fixed asset register, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation;
- Manage intercompany transactions and ensure the reconciliation of balances between different entities;
- Prepare the required files for the end-of-year audit and collaborate closely with external auditors;
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements;
- Participate in the optimization and automation of accounting processes to improve efficiency, reliability, and the quality of financial information.

- Desired Profile
- *Education & Experience*
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or in an accounting firm
- *Technical Skills*
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (we use Acumatica)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, Velixo)
- Hold or be in the process of obtaining a CPA title (asset)
