Description

Bonneville Industries, a 60-year leader in the prefabricated home industry, is seeking a Construction Materials Coordinator for its headquarters in Beloeil. The selected individual will primarily be responsible for establishing the list of materials and equipment needed to complete the construction of homes during the assembly of modules at the client's site. They will serve as the essential link between production plants and the construction site. They will need to plan, coordinate, and optimize the loading of construction materials to ensure that each project arrives at the site with the right materials, equipment, at the right time, and in the logical order for installation. Through their presence on-site and collaboration with internal and external teams, they will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of loading methods, material compliance, and operational efficiency.

Your Daily Tasks

  • Serve as a reference and bridge between the factory and the construction site to ensure smooth operational communication and continuity
  • Analyze plans, estimates, and specifications to visualize the entire project and the construction steps that need to be completed on-site at the client's location to identify material, equipment, and specific needs for each home
  • Determine and write, before and during the construction of each project in the factory, the loading list of construction materials and equipment by calculating the quantities needed to complete the steps that cannot be done in the factory and must be completed on-site at the client's location
  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date loading sheets by integrating Bonneville standards, the particularities of each project, and the real needs of the construction site
  • Maintain an up-to-date list of materials and equipment to ensure the loading is ready before departure for delivery
  • Follow up on the required tracking between different departments (factories, technical drawing, purchases, delivery, and installation)
  • Conduct inspections of modules in the factory before delivery to validate compliance, quantity, arrangement, and attachment of materials and equipment
  • Track missing materials (B/O), evaluate their impact on deliveries, and coordinate the necessary corrective actions
  • Determine the loading logic to facilitate the installation of modules and the smooth progress of work on the construction site
  • Supervise various teams to ensure that the loading of materials and equipment is in the right place in the modules and perform a quality, compliance, and quantity control before delivery
  • Collaborate to add the required information to complete work orders
  • Observe the realities of the construction site, document deviations, and propose improvements to methods, standards, and loading sheets to continuously optimize company practices
  • Ensure the maintenance of the system and procedures to keep the loading lists up-to-date according to plans, estimates, specifications, and production and delivery schedules
  • Adhere to deadlines
