In this role, you will be at the heart of the operations of our

Vanier team and actively participate in the entire material flow. You will operate the crane, as well as other heavy equipment as needed throughout the day (loader, forklift, etc.).

This position is very versatile, active, and physically demanding . The work also includes manual metal sorting and physical outdoor work , in addition to equipment operation. A large part of the tasks is done on the ground, on the move, in collaboration with the team.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Operate the crane and participate in general yard activities;
  • Sort and identify metals (tests, magnets, etc.) and evaluate unsellable materials;
  • Receive, unload, and transport metals to the appropriate areas;
  • Check the quality of received and handled materials;
  • Transport and organize non-ferrous material bins on-site;
  • Use different equipment (crane, loader, forklift as needed);
  • Load ferrous products for customers;
  • Perform manual tasks related to daily operations (sorting, handling, and organizing materials).

  • You have a Class 5 driver's license (essential asset);
