• Typical week of a Human Resources Advisor

Main Role – Health and Safety at Work (SST)

• Act as the SST resource person for the company.
• Coordinate, lead, and follow up on prevention activities (meetings, inspections, audits).
• Participate in incident/accident investigations and analyses, in collaboration with managers to implement lasting corrective measures.
• Update, distribute, and make SST policies and procedures understandable.
• Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the SST culture.

General Human Resources Role

• Handle and follow up on the employee training plan for all positions.
• Contribute to HR projects and the improvement of practices and tools.
• Live the company's values on a daily basis.
• Participate in the organization of corporate events, recognitions, and social activities.

Required Skills

• Diploma in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of the CNESST, labor standards, and best practices in prevention. (an asset)
• Sense of organization, rigor, and collaborative spirit.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to positively influence and mobilize teams around HR and SST issues.
