The Insolvency Case Recovery Service at Revenu Québec is a team of over 25 people who contribute daily to the processing of cases covered by the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act.

By evolving within this team, you will collaborate with your colleagues to tackle stimulating challenges, such as processing strategic cases. You will also contribute to the evolution of practices, process improvement, and the optimization of recovery strategies. This will be done in an environment where financial analysis, process improvement, coordination, and the coordination of mandate implementation meet. In this context, you will work in consultation with many internal and external partners.

Your daily life at Revenu Québec

As the head of the Insolvency Case Recovery Service, you will need to

  • plan, organize, direct, and control the activities of a team composed of specialized recovery employees (professional and technical staff);
  • optimize the efficiency of the approaches used in the processing of recovery cases so that Revenu Québec is recognized as a reference in this field;
  • ensure that your team has the necessary support for the processing of cases, including the implementation of recovery procedures;
  • establish relationships with various government agencies as well as with other general directions of Revenu Québec in order to optimize the processing of cases and achieve organizational objectives;
  • initiate and coordinate mandates aimed at evolving the approaches and strategies in the field of debt recovery, as well as advise the organization on this matter;
  • represent Revenu Québec to syndicates and other creditors in the context of conciliation proposals or consumer proposals, bankruptcy cases, as well as cases covered by the Act on Arrangements with the Creditors of Companies.

The prerequisites

To join our team, you must

  • hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • have one year of experience in activities related to management preparation;
  • have experience in the field of finance, insolvency, or tax recovery.

Additional information

You must have Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status, or a valid work permit in Canada.
