Inventory Coordinator (Replacement for Maternity Leave)

Accompanied by your colleagues, you will be responsible for managing the inventories of the Sommets stores and entering billing data related to store operations.

This is a maternity leave replacement until September 2027.

Responsibilities

• Creates new products in various computer systems, assigns codes and discounts, and enters purchase orders into the store's computer system.
• Coordinates the receipt of merchandise, unpacking, and labeling while ensuring compliance with the purchase order and carrier/supplier delivery documents.
• Ensures the accuracy of invoices and then routes them to the accounting department. Follows up with suppliers when errors are noted.
• Maintains and updates inventory data in the store's computer system. Records merchandise transfers between different stations and internal charges.
• Coordinates, supervises, and performs store inventory counts.

Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year in similar roles

Education

• DEC in administration, AEC or equivalent
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Lightspeed

Required Skills

• Demonstrates a good work methodology, diligence, and accuracy in data processing, as well as a great ability to learn new tasks and computer systems
• Willingness to work weekends as needed
• Understanding of the complete purchase and inventory tracking cycle
• Resourcefulness, organizational sense, and priority management
