The accounting technician plays an essential role in the smooth operation of the company's administrative and financial operations. Recognized for his/her rigor, sense of organization, and versatility, he/she manages the daily accounting activities while contributing to maintaining efficient processes and excellent service to employees, customers, and suppliers.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
- Process customer invoicing and track accounts receivable.
- Process accounts payable and prepare payments to suppliers.
- Perform bank reconciliations and routine accounting entries.
- Participate in the processing of employee payroll, including employees subject to the QCT.
- Prepare and submit the monthly reports required by the QCT.
- Keep administrative and accounting files up to date.
- Collaborate with external partners and provide the required documentation as needed.
- Participate in various administrative tasks contributing to the smooth operation of the company.
Essential Skills and Qualifications for Success
- DEC in accounting and management or equivalent training.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience in invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Knowledge of QCT requirements and reports (a valuable asset).
- Experience with Acomba, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
- Good mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent mastery of French, both oral and written.
- English is an asset.
- Ability to work autonomously while promoting teamwork.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and rigor.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Comfort in evolving in a family-owned SME environment where versatility is valued.
WORK LOCATION: Charlemagne, Quebec. Family-owned company operating temporarily from a home office. Hybrid, possibility of remote work.
