The Animal Sciences Research Centre of Deschambault (CRSAD), through its specialized research facilities and qualified staff, contributes to research in animal sciences (bovine, swine, poultry, caprine) and apiculture, as well as the transfer of knowledge. This is done in synergy with universities, expertise centers, private organizations, and agricultural sectors to address the food and societal challenges of Quebec.
Renowned internationally, the CRSAD promotes collaborative partnerships with the entire world of animal science research.

Main Responsibilities
- Ensure the execution of the complete accounting cycle in collaboration with the team under your responsibility;
- Ensure the financial compliance and financial performance of the organization;
- Supervise the production of payroll, the management of accounts receivable and payable;
- Coordinate the budget preparation process, monitor the budget, and explain the deviations;
- Perform cash flow projections and ensure effective liquidity tracking;
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain internal control procedures and systems;
- Monitor the cost accounting and project accounting processes;
- Prepare interim financial statements and present them to the board of directors;
- Prepare end-of-year files and actively participate in external audits and other periodic examinations;
- Track and analyze grants according to the progress of the work done;
- Implement and maintain cutting-edge accounting tools and processes;
- Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of performance indicators;
- Supervise tasks related to information technology and the management of the computer park;
- Mentor and support the personnel of your department (3 employees) and ensure the team's performance (develop skills, evaluate productivity, and manage performance);
- Participate in the negotiation of insurance and follow up on the insurer's requests;
- Serve on the organization's board of directors;
Desired Profile
- Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting profile;
- Possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting;
- Hold a CPA title (an asset);
- Proficiency in the Office suite, including advanced Excel skills;
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written;
- Skills in personnel management;
- Leadership, communication attitude;
- Initiative, diligence, and versatility;
- Analytical and synthesis capacity;
- Results-oriented;
- Professionalism and discretion.

- Salary: $80,000 to $120,000 per year
