Financial Manager – Project Cost Control

We are looking for a rigorous, analytical, and solution-oriented professional to act as a true strategic partner to project teams, accounting, and management.

In this role, you will directly contribute to the financial performance of projects by ensuring integrated cost, revenue, and risk control, while actively participating in the evolution of financial management tools and practices.

You will be responsible for ensuring a clear, proactive, and strategic view of the financial health of projects throughout their lifecycle.

You will have to

• Ensure financial control of projects: tracking costs, revenues, cash flow, and progress of work
• Analyze project profitability and identify deviations, financial risks, and improvement opportunities
• Participate in the follow-up of additional work, amendments, claims, and billing
• Collaborate closely with project teams, accounting, and management to support decision-making
• Produce dashboards, performance indicators (KPIs), and strategic financial analyses
• Develop and optimize financial management and reporting tools (ERP, Excel, Power BI, etc.)
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and standardization of financial tracking practices
• Act as a strategic partner to maximize profitability and minimize financial risks of projects

Skills

• Strong mastery of budget control, project financial analysis, and accounting according to the work progress method in the construction domain
• Proficiency in technological tools (ERP, advanced Excel, Power BI or equivalent) and an increased interest in applying new technological tools that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project financial tracking
• CPA designation or equivalent training
• Practical experience in a construction company or project management environment
• Ability to easily navigate between financial analysis and discussions with field teams

Education

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the construction sector
