Accounting Manager

Under the responsibility of the Director, Finance & Administration, the Accounting Manager plays a key role in the smooth operation of the accounting processes for several entities operating in the real estate and healthcare sectors. In collaboration with internal teams, this person ensures the rigor and compliance of accounting processes while actively contributing to the optimization of technological tools and adherence to accounting standards.

Main Responsibilities:

Real Estate Domain – 2 Companies

• Complete accounting cycle
• Bookkeeping
• Accounting adjustments
• TPS TVQ reports
• AR / AP
• Collection of rents
• Collection of submissions
• Calculation and tracking of rent increases
• Healthcare Domain – 2 Companies

Accounting

• Supervision of bookkeeping
• Calculation of medical fees
• Imports / validation of revenues
• Supervision of complete cycle
• Inter-company transactions
• Processing of reimbursement requests
• Review of monthly BV
• Review of fixed assets / depreciation
• BUDGET VS ACTUAL report
• Adjustment entries (salaries, inventory, etc)
• Year-end process

Payables / Receivables

• Billing of special accounts
• Collection
• Validation of payments

Payroll

• Work in collaboration with the HR manager
• Processing payroll every two weeks for 2 entities
• Answering employee questions (calculations)
• Retroactive adjustments / calculations
• Recording ADP charges

Technology

• Integration of Sage Intacct
• Optimization of Sage Intacct
• Maintenance of Sage Intacct

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in accounting or equivalent training.
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience
• Great autonomy, attention to detail, and respect for deadlines
• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite tools.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Organized and good interpersonal skills
• Experience in real estate accounting
• Bilingual (English/French)
• Salary: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
