Electrical Engineer-in-Training / EIT VTEK is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT/CPI) eager to grow their skills in a dynamic engineering environment. You will contribute to team efforts on challenging electrical projects in power distribution, control, and automation, under the mentorship and supervision of senior engineers.

Responsibilities
- Support the design of electrical systems for power distribution, control, and industrial automation applications
- Prepare and revise drawings, calculations, and technical specifications under the supervision of a senior engineer
- Participate in coordinating and tracking engineering deliverables with project stakeholders
- Contribute to preparing tender documents and reviewing contractor submissions
- Identify technical issues during project reviews and propose solutions
- Engage in professional development activities and work toward obtaining your full P.Eng designation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's engineering practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (recent graduate or actively pursuing EIT designation)
- Active registration as a candidate for the engineering profession (EIT / CPI)
- 0 to 3 years of experience in electrical engineering (internships included)
- Basic knowledge of design software (ETAP, AutoCAD, or Revit an asset)
- Good communication skills in French and English
- Intellectual curiosity, rigor, and ability to work effectively in a team
