About Us Putter's is a Québec-based food company known for crafting pickles and specialty products with a bold, playful brand identity. As we grow across grocery, retail, and food-service channels, we're building out our marketing team, and we're looking for someone early in their marketing career to help make it happen.
The Role The Junior Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and tracking of Putter's marketing initiatives. This is a hands-on, entry-level role suited to someone organized, creative, adaptable, and energetic, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to grow their marketing skill set within a fast-moving, brand-driven food company.
What You'll Do
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital, print, and in-store channels.
- Coordinate the production of marketing and point-of-sale materials (packaging inserts, retail displays, trade show assets).
- Support trade shows, retail demos, and promotional events, including logistics and on-site coordination.
- Conduct basic market and competitor research to inform campaign and product decisions.
- Track and report on campaign performance metrics (social engagement, email open rates, promotional lift).
- Maintain the marketing content calendar and coordinate approvals with internal stakeholders and external vendors/agencies.
- Provide general administrative and creative support to the Marketing Manager as needed.
What You Bring
- College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or coordinator role (internships included).
- Bilingual in French and English, with strong written communication skills in both.
- Adaptable, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and basic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
- Comfortable using AI tools to support drafting, research, and content creation, with sound judgment on reviewing and fact-checking output.
- Open to learning and adopting new tools and workflows as the role and team grow.
- A valid driver's licence, for occasional travel to trade shows, retail locations, and events.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the food & beverage, CPG, or retail industry.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Exposure to Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo).
- Basic photography or video editing skills for social content.
