As a Store Inventory Specialist, you will be a key player in the smooth operation of inventory and logistics-related activities. You will be responsible for the reception of goods, the management and accuracy of stocks, as well as maintaining an organized and efficient backroom. Thanks to your diligence and sense of organization, you will support daily operations, both in the backroom and on the sales floor, and directly contribute to the fluidity of operations and the achievement of store goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO DAILY

  • Plan and execute daily inventory management activities, including the reception, verification, and processing of goods.
  • Perform cyclical counts and inventory adjustments to ensure their accuracy.
  • Manage damaged items and follow appropriate procedures.
  • Suggest improvements and report inventory-related issues to management.
  • Provide personalized, proactive, and warm customer service while supporting the sales team.
  • Maintain an attractive and company-conforming visual environment.
  • Support store operations, including temporarily replacing the manager or assistant manager, and participating in store opening and closing.
  • Participate in the welcoming, training, and integration of new employees.
  • Mobilize the team and encourage a positive and collaborative work environment.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • High school diploma required.
  • Experience in supervising or assisting in the management of retail.
  • Knowledge of inventory management procedures and proficiency with computer tools (Excel).
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and train a team.
  • Good physical condition for regular handling of loads and movement.

YOUR WORK CONDITIONS

  • Permanent part-time position (approximately 15 hours per week)
  • Variable schedule: day shifts, evenings, holidays, weekday and weekend availability as needed.
  • Positive, collaborative, and team-focused work environment.
  • Presence required during busy periods (promotions, sales, inventory, seasonal changes).
  • Prolonged standing work and participation in the store's physical tasks.
  • Frequent handling of loads up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequent movements: bending, stretching, climbing ladders or stairs.
