Your role
- Assemble and disassemble displays according to seasonal changes, merchandise arrivals, and stock volume
- Ensure that merchandise placed on displays complies with planograms and meets the company's visual presentation standards
- Ensure that inventory above the bay is placed on shelves, that all price tags are properly positioned, and that products are brought forward
- Welcome customers professionally and warmly and refer them to a team member in the store if they need specific advice
- Maintain store cleanliness, ensuring that products are accessible and that customers can easily move through the aisles
- All other tasks related to the smooth operation of the store
Skills required
- Practical knowledge of basic tools needed for the job, such as hand tools, drills, and saws (preferably)
- Ability to establish priorities in tasks to be performed
- Ability to move heavy objects using appropriate equipment
- Experience operating lift trucks (an asset)
- Ability to use online computer programs to complete assigned tasks
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills (addition and subtraction)
- Available to work from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
