The Health Insurance Analyst acts as an expert advisor in collective insurance and health benefits. They analyze complex situations, recommend tailored solutions, and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and work methods. They support various internal colleagues, participate in strategic projects, monitor market and regulatory developments, and ensure alignment of systems with product offerings.

This is a temporary position, until July 16, 2027 .

You will excel in the following functions

  • Coordinate activities related to change management, practice improvement, processes, and procedures based on user and manager needs
  • Participate in projects and lead process and procedure improvement initiatives in health insurance claim management through claim processing and system configuration
  • Collaborate closely with directors, associate directors, professionals, and other stakeholders on assigned mandates, follow up on activities and recommendations following your analyses
  • Address complex issues that arise, analyze and explain these situations, identify and submit development needs. Suggest the implementation of solutions where applicable
  • Develop and implement useful data for activity management by creating management reports on service operations
  • Act as a resource person in communications with the claim processing system provider regarding the creation of rules or parameters in the adjudication system and developments made by the provider
  • Analyze the specifics and/or new products of insurance policies to determine their impact on operations
  • Analyze requirements, discrepancies, and propose solutions. Innovate to find new ways of doing things or propose a new product

Your skills and qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in administration or a relevant discipline
  • Possess three to five years of relevant experience in collective insurance
  • Functional proficiency in English, both orally and in writing, due to the nature of tasks or interactions with colleagues, partners, clients, or anglophone suppliers, or to meet the company's growth objectives
