What are your contributions to the team?

• In the context of your position, you will be called upon to:

Plan and supervise the activities and management of a team of approximately 25 unionized employees.

Be responsible for the operational processes in your sector by achieving and monitoring production objectives.

Manage the budgets of your group and ensure the quality of the product.

Plan the daily operations of your sector and follow up on them.

Report and analyze various indicators related to productivity, quality, health and safety, absenteeism, etc.

Solve problems effectively and in a timely manner.

Maintain communication with other departments for any issues related to your sector.

Ensure continuous improvement by using operational excellence concepts and the problem-solving process.

Ensure the training of your employees, evaluate their performance and progress.

Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication.

Exercise your leadership while respecting Bombardier's vision and values.

Coach your team to develop talents within the organization.

How will you thrive in this role?

• As an ideal candidate,

You are a graduate in operations management, production, engineering, or a related field (aeronautics is an asset).

You have 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a unionized manufacturing environment.

You have strong planning and organization skills to ensure results are achieved.

You demonstrate courage in managing personnel.

You have the interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, all levels of management, and other departments.

You are motivated by a stimulating and rapidly evolving environment.

You are proficient in French (bilingualism is an asset).

You are flexible to work other shifts as needed
