Description

We are looking for experienced Class 1 truck drivers, offering exceptional customer service, to join our team and manage regional store deliveries. We offer complete training, specialized equipment, and growth opportunities in a renowned company.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a Class 1 commercial vehicle safely for local/regional store deliveries
  • Perform deliveries, occasionally including the retrieval of merchandise, construction materials (residential and commercial) using a flatbed trailer and mofette. Deliveries are primarily made to construction sites and various retail points, where access can be difficult due to traffic and muddy terrain.
  • Secure the merchandise
  • Perform precise reverse maneuvers in tight spaces
  • Ensure deliveries are made on time while providing quality customer service
  • Perform vehicle inspections before and after the trip
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 FM license + minimum of 1 year of experience and impeccable driving record and good criminal background check
  • Flatbed experience required and experience with the mofette, a type of truck.
  • Comfortable driving in the city and on the highway, tight parking maneuvers and backing into narrow docks
  • Excellent customer service skills – friendly, professional, and courteous
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Adherence to company safety rules and service hours
