Technical Assistant in Pharmacy

• Full-time position from Monday to Friday
• Possibility of preparing pill boxes using Synmed
• Automated pharmacy (Parata Max and Synmed)

The technical assistant in pharmacy assists the pharmacist in the execution of prescriptions, the creation of patient files, and the execution of technical tasks related to the preparation and dispensing of medications. They also participate in inventory management and other tasks that may be delegated to them.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, collect data, create/update patient files
• Enter prescriptions and proceed with their packaging
• Provide professional, empathetic, and enthusiastic customer service
• Answer phone calls
• Participate in the detection of potential non-compliance issues and refer patients to the pharmacist when required
• Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the laboratory and the proper storage of merchandise
• Maintain stock levels using inventory control systems
• Perform transmissions to third-party payers (if applicable)
• Perform cashier functions at the pharmacy as needed
• Monitor the expiration dates of medications

The position is offered by the owner pharmacist(s).

Full-time position.

Compensation: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
