Health Québec Outaouais is seeking candidates to fill the position of Senior Advisor – Communication and Governance at the Direction des communications et des relations avec les partenaires (DCRP). Summary of Role and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Communications and Partnership Relations, the Senior Advisor will play a strategic advisory role to the management, senior executives, and managers in the areas of access to information, governance, confidentiality, information communication, and compliance with organizational obligations.

The incumbent of the position assumes organizational responsibility for access to information for Health Québec Outaouais by ensuring rigorous analysis of requests, process compliance, and institutional response consistency. They also support the Medical Complaints Review Committee by providing the required expertise, analysis, and recommendations for the exercise of its mandate.

The Senior Advisor coordinates various cross-cutting strategic and organizational files, including those related to the implementation of the French Language Charter, and accompanies the relevant departments in the implementation of applicable orientations and requirements. They also plan, coordinate, and monitor projects and mandates entrusted to the Direction des communications et des relations avec les partenaires, mobilizing stakeholders and ensuring the achievement of expected results.

Through their expertise, the incumbent contributes to the development and maintenance of a culture of compliance, transparency, continuous improvement, and sound governance within the organization.

As a manager within a public organization, they are accountable for their management both internally and externally and are called upon to account for it at all times.

Every manager contributes, within their area of responsibility, to the integrated risk management by identifying risky situations, implementing appropriate preventive or corrective measures, and ensuring the required follow-up to support the quality, safety, and continuous improvement of care and services.

Required Qualifications

  • At least five (5) years of professional experience in a related field
  • Recent experience in the field of access to information
  • Excellent understanding of the health and social services sector, its administration, and its legal framework
