Canadel is a Quebec-based family-owned business founded in 1982. We design and manufacture custom wood furniture. They are assembled and finished by hand to the highest quality standards.

Our mission is simple: to create timeless furniture that transcends generations and adapts to the reality of every home.

Work-Life Balance

• Day and evening shifts available: 40-hour workweek from Monday to Thursday, 7:30
• AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 7:30
• AM to 12:30 PM OR 40-hour evening workweek from Monday to Thursday, 5:00
• PM to 3:30 AM;
• All your Friday afternoons off for day shifts and all your Fridays off for evening shifts;
• Two planned annual shutdowns, during construction holidays and the Holiday period, to allow you to think about yourself;
• Three (3) additional paid days off during the Holiday period by Canadel.

Total Compensation

• Salary adjusted to your experience and profile;
• Group insurance after six (6) months in position, including telemedicine, prescription drug insurance, life, health, disability, and travel;
• On-site medical service one (1) day a week (because your health matters to us).

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sew the different fabric pieces according to established models and work methods;
• Make precise overlock stitches;
• Check the quality of the produced covers before moving on to the next step;
• Handle fabrics and materials with care;
• Maintain a sustained work pace while respecting quality standards;
• Collaborate with team members to ensure operational fluidity;
• Always respect health and safety regulations in force.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have good manual dexterity and show attention to detail;
• You have good concentration and learn quickly;
• You have excellent memory;
• You are comfortable with spatial visualization and different fabric assemblies;
• You place great importance on the quality of well-done work;
• You are a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented person;
• You have experience in industrial sewing, garment making, or a similar position (an asset).

Good news: Training for this position is offered on-site.
