Assistant Warehouse Manager

Eclipse Stores Inc., a growing Canadian retailer of women’s clothing with more than 80 stores across Canada, is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join our warehouse team in Montreal, Quebec.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide daily support to the Warehouse Manager
• Hands-on management of warehouse workflow and operations
• Book delivery appointments and arrange courier pick-ups
• Ensure efficient and accurate warehouse operations
• Assign daily tasks, motivate team members, and monitor performance
• Assist employees and help troubleshoot operational issues
• Participate in hands-on picking, packing, and shipping of orders at day’s end
• Process data and enter goods received into the system
• Accurately receive and process distributions
• Train warehouse employees as required
• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a warehouse.
• Experience with shipping/receiving.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
• Willing and able to work overtime as required
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to perform physical work
• Strong computer skills
• Bilingual: French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with our Head Office located in Newfoundland
