Business Intelligence Architecture Advisor

• Functions and Responsibilities
• Design and evolve BI architecture to ensure consistency, performance, and scalability;
• Define standards, best practices, and models for analytical solutions;
• Collaborate with business teams to understand needs and translate them into concrete BI solutions;
• Model data (warehouses, cubes, analytical models) and optimize flows (ETL/ELT);
• Guide the choice and integration of BI and analytical technologies;
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance in delivered solutions;
• Simplify technical concepts for stakeholders and support teams in adopting solutions;
• Document architectures and train BI and technical teams.

Qualifications Required to Succeed in this Role

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, administration, or equivalent experience;
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in BI, architecture, or analytical solution design;
• Strong SQL skills (mandatory);
• Good understanding of BI and/or AI concepts;
• Ability to simplify and effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders;
• Business orientation and sense of collaboration;
• Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, Databricks) – an asset.

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Reward decisions are based on individual circumstances. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $70,000 and $135,000. This position is currently open.
