Our team at our Ste-Thérèse and St-Eustache establishments is currently looking for a DIETITIAN-NUTRITIONIST FULL-TIME - DAY embodying the values of Kindness, Excellence, and Responsibility.

Participate in the healthy and balanced nutrition of our residents by:
- Assessing the nutritional status and specific needs of our residents;
- Developing and implementing clear and concise procedures for the nutrition service and all associated partners;
- Helping to prevent and treat the consequences of inadequate nutrition for our residents;
- Specific Functions:
Develop intervention plans using a scientific approach; design, organize, execute, and evaluate intervention plans within your professional competence and addressing complex or varied nutritional issues.
Assessment:
- Assess and reassess nutritional status;
- Analyze, interpret, and identify nutritional issues;
- Assess the functional capacity to eat;
- Assess an individual's eating behavior;
- Develop and adjust the tailored nutritional intervention plan according to the user's living conditions.
- Treatments:
- Write and implement the nutritional intervention plan in consultation with the interdisciplinary intervention plan of the user;
- Coordinate with relevant organizations for users requiring highly specialized food products, equipment, and supplies;
- Provide counseling, including individual or group teaching;
- Evaluate the user's progress, consider treatment reactions, and adjust interventions accordingly;
- Write progress notes and maintain files according to professional standards and establishment policies;
- Act as a consultant to the family, user, interdisciplinary team members, and colleagues;
- Communicate necessary clinical information to interdisciplinary team members and health and social services partners to ensure user follow-up within the continuum of care;
- Ensure necessary follow-ups with the user and ensure the implementation of the treatment plan in accordance with best practices;
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and meetings related to your function; and update the interdisciplinary intervention plan in collaboration with the team.
- Other Tasks:
- Keep your knowledge up-to-date in your field of activity;
- Complete periodic professional activity statistics according to discipline policies;
- Regularly check renewable nutrition materials and inform your supervisor of materials to be ordered;
- Seek assistance from staff and determine some of your activities in connection with your area of expertise;
- Perform any other tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor.

Skills and Requirements Sought
We are primarily looking for a person who enjoys working in a team and is concerned about the autonomy and well-being of our residents:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in dietetics or nutrition;
- Be a member in good standing of the Professional Order of Dietitians of Quebec;
- French spoken and written;
- Professional autonomy;
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team;
- Leadership;
- Communication skills;
- Good organizational skills;
- Open-mindedness and adaptability.

Compensation: $31.65 to $56.08 per hour
