Senior Business Analyst – Technologies
Information Systems Team · Reports to the VP of Technologies
Within our Information Systems (IS) team, the Senior Business Analyst – Technologies is more than a bridge between business units and the IT team: you drive technological initiatives from ideation to delivery, understand the problems, structure the needs, evaluate the solutions, and mobilize the right stakeholders to ensure that the technological effort addresses the right problem and reaches the result. Whether it's evaluating a new platform, leading a POC, or transforming a department's request into a deployed solution, you are the person who advances the projects — keeping business analysis at the heart of the approach. You report directly to the VP of Technologies.
Responsibilities
- *Project Management*
- Lead the management (scope, deadlines, dependencies) of technological initiatives from ideation to delivery, ensuring continuity between business needs and the deployed solution.
- Act as the single point of contact for the business unit: define the mandate with managers and directors, write the project memo, and proactively communicate progress through the agreed-upon team channels.
- Actively mobilize the concerned departments throughout the project, from need definition to adoption, and flag any issues.
- *Business Analysis*
- Collect and analyze the needs of operational teams.
- Animate workshops and map current and target processes.
- Produce functional documentation (mockups, use cases, BPMN/UML).
- *Solution Evaluation & POC*
- Compare third-party solutions based on functional and technical criteria.
- Coordinate POCs with IT and suppliers.
- Recommend the adoption, customization, or rejection of a solution.
- Determine if a request falls under configuration, automation, or development.
- *Logical Delivery*
- Collaborate with development teams.
- Collaborate in the creation of test scenarios.
- Participate in quality assurance, integration testing, and UAT.
- Evaluate the impacts of changes on processes and systems, and contribute to the planning of deployments.
- *Change Management*
- Support the planning of change and training activities.
- Train users and accompany the adoption of new solutions.
- Required Profile
- *Experience and Education*
- University degree in information technology, administration, software engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in functional analysis or business analysis within a technological delivery context.
- Experience in project management or coordination (planning, tracking of participants, managing dependencies and deadlines).
- Experience with Agile teams and practical knowledge of Azure DevOps or an equivalent backlog management tool.
- (Asset) Experience in evaluating SaaS platforms or tools (CRM, LOS, LMS, automation tools, or similar).
- (Asset) Knowledge of BPMN and UML formalisms.
- (Asset) Experience in FinTech, financial services, or regulated sector.

- Mastery of French (oral and written) and English (oral and written).
