The Senior Integration Architect serves as the architectural reference for IT integration initiatives within the client's integration and harmonization program, in alignment with the program's governance framework.
He is responsible for defining and implementing integration strategies, covering modern user environments, IT services, and branch applications, while ensuring the overall consistency of the target architecture.
The role is set in a multi-branch context, involving coordination, dependency management, and constant alignment with the client's technological standards.
The mandate is primarily executed in a remote work mode, with occasional client site visits.
Functions and Responsibilities
Governance and Architecture
- Serve as the architectural reference for IT integration initiatives.
- Actively contribute to architectural decisions and inter-team alignment.
- Define the target architecture for modern work environments and collaborative services.
- Integration and Migration
- Participate in the analysis and execution phases of branch integration into the target iAGF environment.
- Conduct inventory and mapping of AS-IS environments.
- Develop and implement technical migration plans (AD, M365, modern workstations).
- Define and drive the integration strategy and roadmap.
- Coordination and Delivery
- Coordinate multi-branch technical teams and parallel activities.
- Facilitate evaluation workshops (CSA), gather information, and analyze gaps.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum mode.
- Documentation and Deliverables
- Produce the following deliverables:
- AS-IS environment mapping
- Integration strategy and roadmap
- Technical and functional RACI
- AD/M365 migration plan
- Modern workstation/Intune target architecture
- IAM/PAM strategy and user adoption
Qualifications Required for Success in this Role
- Technical Expertise
- Active Directory (AD): consolidation, cleanup, object strategy.
- Azure Active Directory / Entra ID: integration, AAD Connect, Hybrid Join.
- Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Intune, Autopilot.
- Migration tools: Quest ODM, MigrationWiz, ShareGate, AvePoint, BitTitan.
- Packaging and deployment: Intune, GPO, modern workstation lifecycle management.
- Professional Skills
- Ability to develop integration and migration strategies.
- Strong cross-functional coordination and dependency management skills.
- Excellent technical and strategic deliverables writing skills.
- Analytical mindset, structured approach, and solution-oriented.
- Ability to work in complex and evolving environments.
Experience and Profile
- 8+ years of experience in technological architecture.
- Significant experience in post-acquisition integration and heterogeneous environments.
- Participation in AD and/or M365 migration projects (>500 users).
- Experience in change management and client support.
- Experience in financial services/insurance (asset).
- Bilingual French-English.
CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particularities of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $80,000 and $155,000. This position is vacant.
