The organization is currently looking for a software developer to assist in the development of non-destructive testing applications in our new Quebec facilities.
The selected candidate will be an integral part of a team of developers working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Each developer is called upon to participate in the design, development, and validation of our software.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software in C#.
- Actively contribute to the Scrum team in an Agile manner, following modern Clean Code practices.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary development team to develop specifications and then develop new software.
- Work with the product testing team to conduct test and qualification campaigns, and participate in problem resolution.
- Perform basic maintenance of existing software.
- Typical features of these software include: User interfaces, 2D/3D modeling, mechanical control, numerical analysis, and processing.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of C#.
- Knowledge of C/C++ is an asset.
- Knowledge of WPF is an asset.
- Knowledge of Java Swing under Java SE is an asset.
- Knowledge of OpenGL or DirectX is an asset.
- Functional spoken and written English.
